another grey day, at least there's green on the hackney marshes.

But here is another day of grey. I'm going to have to pay more attention to the shades and perhaps develop unique names or descriptions so that "grey" has some nuance to it.

No time like the present: today's grey is the color of dust bunnies under the bed.

I'm not sure if this is cheating or not, but I took this picture just before leaving Hackney last year for Oz. Now I'm back and wishing for snow rather than just today's grey. A girl can wish...

3.3.08 Morning Shadows

We are exploring our new neighborhood, watching for shadow and light on our walk to work. It seems fitting to use a bit of black and white as we transition from the colors of the Australian desert to the many shades of grey in our new town.
